Boston police have identified the three people killed in a shooting early Saturday morning in the Grove Hall area as two men and a woman, all from Dorchester. Killed were Brian Tirado, 23, Ana Cruz, 22, and Felix Garcia, 22, police said this afternoon in a statement. The shooting was reported at about 4:18 a.m. Saturday at a house party on Intervale Street near Columbia Road.

Farmers market opens for second season

The Westwood Farmers Market kicked off its second year of operation June 18 at the town's Senior Center, 60 Nahatan St., running on Tuesdays through October from 1 to 6 p.m., rain or shine. Vendors include manager Shirley Robbins of Paradise Hill Farm of Westport, as well as E.L. Silvia Farm, Copicut Farm, Great Harvest Bread, Jordan Seafood, Sunshine Farm, and Ever So Humble Pie. Robbins moved the market from Norwood last year after officials in that town opted to change its purpose and location, leaving vendors out of luck. At that point, Westwood reached out to invite the growers for the town's first market. At the time, Westwood Council on Aging director Pat Larkin said the pleasure of hosting the vendors was all the town's, given the fresh, moderately priced food for residents. The senior center is between the high school and middle school.
