Jury selection to begin Sept. 3 in slaying of Vt. girl, 12

Jury selection is set to begin Sept. 3 for a Vermont man facing a federal death penalty trial on charges that he abducted and killed his 12-year-old niece. The US District Court in Burlington has scheduled nine days to choose a jury that will hear the case against Michael Jacques, 47, of Randolph.
