Cambridge police searching for man who robbed pharmacy

Cambridge police are seeking help to find a man who robbed a pharmacy of at least 3,300 pills and $300 in cash on Friday and who may also be responsible for a similar robbery in April, police said.

Disgraced NY college dean dead in apparent suicide

NEW YORK (AP) — A disgraced dean of St. John's University accused of using students as personal servants was found hanging in her apartment Tuesday, dead of an apparent suicide one day after she testified in her own defense at her criminal trial, a law enforcement official said.

Ohio nurse gets 10 years in malnutrition death

Mayor Menino remains in hospital, votes by absentee ballot

Boston Mayor Thomas M. Menino voted today with an absentee ballot because he remained hospitalized with a viral infection and a back injury. Menino completed his ballot Friday at Brigham and Women's Hospital, where he has spent 12 days recuperating. Doctors have not indicated when he will return home or how long Menino will need to convalesce before returning to City Hall, but his condition continues to improve, according to his spokeswoman, Dot Joyce.
