Apple awarded $1 billion in patent case vs. Samsung

A federal jury Friday awarded slightly more than $1 billion to Apple in it's patent suit against rival Samsung. The jury said that Samsung had infringed on some of Apple patents. The verdict is still being read in a San Jose, California, federal courtroom and not all of the key legal findings have been announced.
