Fan killed, 9 injured by lightning at NASCAR race

1 dead, 9 injured in lightning strike at PoconoTough news out of Pocono as the same storm that shut down the race after 98 of a scheduled 160 laps also sent down a lightning strike that injured ten fans just outside the track. Pocono Raceway officials announced that a fan was pronounced dead on arrival at a local hospital.

Seven people are dead in a shooting this morning at a Sikh temple in suburban Milwaukee, including the suspected gunman, and three others are wounded, including a veteran police officer who was ambushed by the gunman, authorities said.
