Man uses online sleuthing to track stolen laptop

Police in California have returned the stolen laptop of a man who tracked its location using software that also sent him photos of another man using it in bed while shirtless, among other images.

Correction: Hurricane Head-Scratching

In a May 31 story about La Nina's effect on the upcoming Atlantic hurricane season, The Associated Press misidentified which federal agency predicts how many storms will form during the season. It's the National Oceanographic and Atmospheric Administration's Climate Prediction Center that makes the prediction, not the National Hurricane Center.
