The World Health Organization said that radiation in food after an earthquake damaged a Japanese nuclear plant was a "serious situation."The Food and Drug Administration said Tuesday it will halt imports of dairy products and produce from the area of Japan where a nuclear reactor is leaking radiation.

Libyans inspect the wreckage of a U.S. F-15 fighter jet that crashed in an open field in the village of Bu Mariem, east of Benghazi, eastern Libya, on Tuesday. The U.S. African Command said both crew members safely ejected.Moammar Gadhafi's forces attacked two west Libyan towns, killing dozens, while rebels were pinned down in the east and NATO tried to resolve a dispute over who should lead the Western air campaign.
