Jon Diebler and Ohio State landed the No. 1 overall seed.Ohio State, Kansas, Pittsburgh and defending champion Duke have been awarded the top seeds in this year's NCAA tournament, an expanded version of March Madness that will include 68 teams.

Unrest deepens in Yemen and Bahrain amid protests

A female anti-government protester chants slogans demanding the resignation of Yemeni President Ali Abdullah Saleh, following clashes with Yemeni police in Sanaa, Yemen, on March 12. Yemeni security forces stormed a square early Saturday where thousands of pro-democracy protesters have been camped out for the past month, firing tear gas and live ammunition during a pre-dawn raid that killed at least one person, doctors and witnesses said. Yemeni police firing from rooftops wounded more than 100 in a protesters' camp Sunday and anti-government demonstrators paralyzed Bahrain's capital as unrest deepened in two of Washington's most critical allies in the region.

Gabrielle Giffords' chair sits empty as she recovers from a gunshot wound to the head, yet three friends are ensuring she still has a presence in Congress.
