Attorney General Lisa Madigan sued today to block disgraced former Chicago police Cmdr. Jon Burge from collecting a pension of more than $3,000 a month. Madigan's lawsuit contends the police pension board's decision violated state law that bars a police officer convicted of a job-related felony from receiving a pension.
