The Toulousain restaurant sits closed around 2 a.m., Saturday, Jan. 8, 2011, hours after a witness said two Westerners believed to be French nationals had been kidnapped from inside at gunpoint by turbaned men in Niamey, Niger. The witness was dining inside when he said two men walked in, pulled out guns and told the citizens to follow them. Outside two more men were waiting and they forced the victims into a truck and sped off, according to the witness.
