At least 21 people have died and thousands have been forced from their houses after weeks of downpours.Flooding and landslides unleashed by torrential rains have killed at least 21 people in Venezuela, forced thousands from their homes and idled an oil refinery.

'Long-lived tornadoes' feared overnight in East

Officials had not yet determined if it was a twister or just strong winds that also damaged several homes.A severe storm system was moving east, causing havoc during the Atlanta commute as forecasters said even rougher weather could hit the Carolinas and Virginia overnight.
